Yuck... Sorry to hear! I moved up to Seattle from Myrtle Beach, SC years ago, because my first wife went crazy and kicked me out. After five years of having her try to black mail me, she finally gave in and we were officially divorced in April of '08. Good luck to you!
thanks guys. i appreciate the words. I should be ok. My property was donated to me by me parents before we got married so in this state she cant touch it. The only thing i care about is my land and my Toyota....lol the Toyota tho.....I might "sell it" to my son before i file papers just to be safe
thats a good idea. protect anything you want to keep out of the battle. they arent fun. i had one in march. tip...dont marry your high school sweetheart. lol.
Dont just sign it over to your son. Make it official and sell it to him for a dollar and give her half the profit.
luckily altho mine was crazy (arent exs an ex for a reason...usually crazy ??) but we didnt split anything...just remaining bills.
