i'd ask around to see if someone across the pond will help arrange something.

i like this site (new zealand)

    www.minitruckin.co.nz

and i lurk this site (Australia)

    www.onsills.com

the good thing about going thru new zealand or australia is that they speak english. makes things a lot easier

From what I have heard it is around 2000 to ship from my east to your west. So that figure seems alright. My neighbour imported a flashback mustang a few weeks ago, so I will see who he used. In the mean time try this:

    http://www.autocarshippers.com/

I will take a few pics of what is inside the local wreaker as soon as I can.

The thing is I can't ship in the whole truck it would have to be just the cab doors an glass. US customs won't allow the whole vehicle. Bu if you can get me some pics it would be great.

Get that stuff now before you get married!

I can't say that, my wife is great when it comes to spending money on my truck. She's ok with most of it as long has its not too expensive. Now, when I had my stereo installed, that was another story.

Lol ya I kno man for reals. Just finding someone over there to do all the work is gonna be the tough part. Cause they'd have to make a crate for the cab an everything then driveit to the shipping docks

Wouldn't it be easier just to use a 20ft container as that is the cheapest, for shipping, then paying per square meter and making a custom pallet?

I have had two cars sent interstate and I bought a container to fit, tied them up, loaded them on a flatbed tow truck and sent them. It was no where near the quotes I got for the car transport people. Saved from memory nearly 5000 to get mine sent to me from Perth.

Neighbour wasnt home today... drove past the wreakers twice today but didn't have time to pull in. :brickknock:

I'm waiting for the guy from mazdabscene to tell me the shipping company name. He said tht it had to be either metal or a certain wood crate. I'm thinkin wood would be cheaper? An whoever I have do it has to build it then drive it to the docks to get shipped. It can't be a full chassis an can't have lights I guess an Id have to say it's parts. I'm working on getting the full details from him. Then start saving for it
