Search tools; you got specs Jon? I forgot what mine were but thats attainable info; lots of things fit what kind of fitment are we looking for? ^_^ toughest thing with these threads is missing fotos, wheels on these trucks is easy tho; lots of stuff looks great!

I'm all about reviving dead threads, dig it up! What I hope we get is a clean up crew, I volunteer :looney:

Shit i guess it wouldnt hurt to start a thread specific to 72-78 trucks. Same fitment should work on the entire generation

Didn’t even notice the years, I saw the thread and posted in it…to me the forum isn’t busy enough to have a separate wheel thread for each Gen of truck, even the one posted above is only 8 pages, and a lot of the posts are questions about peoples setups, so maybe 5 pages of actual wheel pics.

It is nice to be able to find info that is directly what you're looking for tho.

I agree, but if each forum has a thread dedicated to wheels, how often would it be posted in? Once a month maybe, which would make it hard to find since the newsbot would have it several pages in.

Yea and most people don’t list all the specs as for offset and clearance of Frame / inner wheel well and outer wheel well/ fender lip

Has anyone asked for these specs? Offset yes, obviously, but the others aren’t really a common question.

    Guys,

I am keenly interested in learning the exact OEM rim offset on my 1977 Toyota pickup, and what options I have if I buy new aftermarket rims. I would much prefer to stick with stock rims and use my brand new old stock OEM dog bowls - unfortunately, someone swapped out the OEM rims for some rims that do not have the bumps on the rim to accept the stock hubcaps. I agree that we need a fresh thread about rims and tires with great pics AND SPECS. Please create one- I am a newbie and do not know too much about it. Thanks!
