I don't think that looks all that bad. I liked the way mine looked with the red wheels with chrome trim rings. I've been thinkin bout changing mine to black cause I'm kinda unsure about the blue.

ive been trying to locate some trim rings or some good whitewalls but no luck.

Do a candy red over silver on ur steelies. id do it if i had the rings.

Maybe you can find some hubcaps in the junkyard. Some dome shaped ones. My Dad has some for his 1956 International truck. I was thinking it might be possible to adapt some of those to fit onto the steelies.

Haha yea that would irritate me too.
I figured you might have some worthy junkyards to find some. Even if they are slightyly oxidized you could clean them up.

I would paint the wheels a solid color, use acorn lug nuts and get a small center cap that pushes through the back. It would look good that way. Keep tire shine on the tires, and it should offset nicely. But I'm with ya on wanting some sort of divider between them. Im not a big fan of all black wheels. Try bronze, it looked good on my steelies.

I know there's a place that sells like a whitewall that just attaches to your tire. I'll explain. I guess you let the air outta your tire slap on the whitewall an air it back up an it seals to the tire

White Wall Toppers, Port-O-Walls and White Ribbons, there are several names depending on who you know. One thing for sure is that these are so simple to install and it will change the entire look of your ride.

You don't need to buy white wall tires when you have a simple alternative such as these; and we all know how costly WW tires can be. The secret of our Port-O-Walls are the inside edge that's pinched between your existing tire wall and the lip/rim of your wheel.

When they wear out from age or "curb-riding", simply buy replacements. We offer these as singles (1 ea.) just for that purpose.

White Wall Toppers come in standard "wide" white wall or white ribbon "skinny" types. We also carry motorcycle sizes in for a variety of applications (see our motorcycel category).

    White Wall Type Sizes (inches)
Please select the appropriate wheel size and white wall width carefully:

    10" x 1.2" WW1210 - $12.00
    12" x 1.5" WW1212 - $15.00
    13" x 1.8" WW1213 - $15.00
    14" x 1.8" WW1214 - $15.00
    15" x 1.8" WW1215 - $15.00
    15" x 3.0" WW1215-3 - $19.00
    16" x 1.2" WW1216 - $16.00
    16" x 3.0" WW1216-3 - $19.00

Please note the 15 and 16-inch sizes have two types.
    Not recommended for radial tires.
Height (or thickness) of White Wall varies depending on tire size

So speakin of whitewalls, I went to the rim shop today and the dude told me he would swap my current tires for some whitewalls depending on their condition. Im pretty sure il have to pay the difference in price but if its not too much then fck it.

Ima call em later and ask for a quote to see how good of a hook up hes giving me.
