when i brake i get a bad pedal pulsation and the truck pretty much shakes.

i replaced the rotors and pads but they still pulsate...

also i have a bit of wheel slop/play since i put on my 225's (about 3 inches and makes it hard to control the truck at faster speeds)

i used to get a "speed wobble" at about 60mph but after i got my tires balanced i dont get it until like 70mph

i feel like all these things are related but im really dont know

what do you guys think is wrong?

sounds like you could have a few problems here but i would first say it's a sticky caliper so make darn sure they both work, and work like they should not good enough. The check the rear cylinders for working order. After that bleed the system from passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front, driver front. If all of this checks out first put the front end up on jack stands and spin the tires looking for anything out of the ordinary like wheel wobble, loose bearings and such. Report after that with your findings and questions.

You bleed from the far point to closest to the master.
Drivers rear, passenger rear, passenger front ,drivers front.
Put the bleed hose into a bottle with some brake fluid in it so you can see the bubbles & no air can return.
Also check all your steering components!

did you check the rear? I had a leaking wheel cylinder that was sticking..Had the shake at highway speed, replaced the cylinder and all is well

replace your front end parts like center drag link, idler arm, pitman arm, tie rods, and ball joints. 100 bucks says its a combination of those parts.

so the brake shaking seemed to go away when i got my new rims.

but the wheel and truck now shakes at 45-50mph then goes away and comes back at about 70mph.. what could cause this?

also i have about 3 inches of wheel slop/play and the wheels pull me from side to side freely as they hit ruts (its kinda scary) the truck seems to go where it wants to and is kind of hard to control.

i have no power steering and possibly my steering box is bad? the wheel play seems to be coming from it but idk

the truck pulling on you when you hit "ruts" is from having wide tires on the narrow frame and the curvature of the road aka the "crown", You should not have that much play in you steering linkage, especially since it doesnt have power steering. The next thing I would do is what CIN said start replacing linkage parts. Start with the tie rods, (those seem to go first) after that I would go to the idler arm (coming off the steering box) and just for fun why not put a steering stabilizer on it (what I plan to do to keep it from pulling) it will help take play out of the linkage and stiffen it up

p.s. I work at a goodyear and see this one too many times

btw check you ball joints and wheel bearings
jack the front wheels up and shake side to side and up and down on the wheel

side to side can be tie rods or wheel bearings
up and down is usually ball joints

and you may have to use some force up and down to get the balls to "shift"

Sounds as though you want to ask for advise and not follow it. Now properly check your brakes and front end and diagnose the problem. Have you bled the brakes? have you jacked up the front end and checked for play? aside from putting new rims on your truck what have you done to take care of this aside from posting on a forum? If your rims were warped before and the tires were out of alignment and unbalanced the rotors that you put on are most likely warped again as well. So to give you some proper direction start with an alignment, replace your rotors and pads again as i'll bet they are ruined. While doing so go ahead and jack up the front end and check for worn parts. You need to actually fix the problem and be able to diagnose it instead of throwing parts at it expecting it to change. New rims is not fixing the problem and of course that's going to change it as the most likely unbalanced tires you had before are now some what balanced via new rims. After you start actually fixing the truck instead of throwing parts at it come back with what you have accomplished and hash out the new problems. (if this sounds harsh it probably is and sorry for the harshness but i might be spending too much time on prate4x4) god luck and hope this sent you in the right direction.
