Ok, I'm looking into getting a new performance muffler. I've looked into several & really like Flowmaster...anyone using this brand?

I'm going to say try one of those round (not oval) Magnaflows. My Flowmaster 50 series (3 chamber) is WAY too big for under that little truck and has cracked at the inlet and I had to re weld it with a little plate for added strength. It weighs a TON! The Magnaflow's are 10 times lighter and I'm going with the 6" round x 14" body next time, the 4 x 14 is too loud for my tastes anymore....but damn racey sounding!! I made this system on my trucka nd then sold it and this thing made my truck sound like a serious race truck. It would do this "snap" when I fired it up! bad ass but a hair too loud. The 6" round (bigger than this 4"er) is quieter but has a nice deep tone still.

I got the 4" x 14" Beefed Taco is talking about, it is a lil loud but was a heck of a good replacement as compared to my past muffler i.e. stock replacement POS . . .

I'm not down on Flowmasters at all, that's why I got one. I just have come to decide it's too big and heavy for under there. When I did that 6" round MF one on my friends truck I was very surprised how quiet it was, but still had a nice aftermarket throaty tone. But not loud at all. It's weird they can be so quiet for being a straight through design. I say if you want a FM get a FM, you'll love it. But be careful, too loud (like a 40 series) will drone in the cab since it's right behind it, it's the only place to put it. That's why I went with a 50 series. btw, my 50 series was WAY too quiet before I did a turn down before the axle. So if your coming out in the stock exit, you may want a 40 series (2 chamber)

i love how my truck sounds.... honestly. i see the video and i have to play it and play the others as well.

ive owned all sorts of trucks with magnaflow's, flowmaster's and cherrybomb mufflers. i have to say out of all of them, i love this system the most :clapping:

downey 4-1 header, catless, magnaflow 14" standard flow through muffler and 2 1/2 inch piping from the header back. :waytogo:

ill make a couple of clips tomorrow of the truck. drive-away clip and also a drive-by clip.:waytogo:

sound clip or video would be nice :waytogo:
