i would like to say first up thanks to those who have contributed (on this forum) to my cyrrent dilemas with my new ride, its been much appreciated.
second shouts to all who have or will check out my scrapper (project lower case #2 (should be 2.0)) http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/build-up-project-threads-25/project-lower-case-2-a-9216/
so what up? i'm dave a.k.a. dyrti a.k.a. iLLtORiOu$ (d.R.t.),i'm 28, i live just west of portland oregon in a town called scappoose (anyone in the area who wants to kik it just hit me up), but i've also got a residence in antioch, ca (far east bay-half way between frisco and sac) where my girlfriend (i fricken love her, and miss her too) lives while she is going to school (transpersonal psychology (don't ask) @ JFK University in pleasant hill).
i'm on my 4th toyota. the first was my dads 99 tacoma which got me hooked on toyotas, the second was my 78 toyota corolla, which isnt mine anymore but i can buy it back as soon as i come up with $400. the 3rd would be an 86 hilux tat was pretty trick for only being static droped. i miss that truck so much, as i had to sell it for less than half of what i payed for it not to mention all the work that i did to it. now i'm on number 4, my bagged and shaved 91 single cab. i have a lot of work ahead of me being as i'd like to debut it at relaxin' at the rock this summer. it might not have paint, but at least it'll drive me there.

Well welcome back to TM and hopefully this one will last longer then the rest. So besides redoing the bag setup, what all do you have in store for it?

no i'm not redoing the bags.... too much time and money to fix something that isn't broke. but its getting the bed out of a 76(?) cevy luv is prbly the viggest mod other than the motor being swapped back to a 22re. lots of shaving to do though. both cab doors need re-done and the gas door had the keyhole shaved but the fill lines are gone, so i'll be shaving that too. the tailgate was actually done real well though. i wanna do an old skool 2-tone with the current color and black with a yellow pin stripe. also thinking of going mostly black inside too with a few green accents and just a hint of yellow to balance it all out. up front is getting old skool gmc van rear inner fender wells turned into front inner fender wells. new roll pan or maybe a heavily frenched rear bumper, maybe a 4x4 twin bar?? not sure yet. new tail lights, new poppers, new exhaust. i'm using the stereo out of my explorer, which is a pioneer 2100deh deck, boston acoustic 6x8 seperates, a directed 600w amp (this will change as time rolls on), and either my kenwood slim fit 10" sub or if i get a new box i might use my audiobahn 10". i've got a small stockpile of other speakers i might add also. i still havnt decided if i want the front shock mount kit or not, mostly due to the lack of space up front.
