I found some 18x8.5 Bullit wheels on Craigslist today. I originally planed on 17x8 inch rims with 225x45x17 inch tires. The Bullits are in really good shape and included 2 almost new 255x50x18 G force TA tires. I am going to need spacers for these wheels to fit properly... The offset on the rims is 50mm. The question is how thick do the spacers need to be? I test fit the wheels and I am thinking somewhere between 1/2" and 1" thick. I am leaning more toward 1" thick spacers. I realize I need to clean and paint my brake drums and calipers. Please recommend me a brand of spacer also since I am new to the world of spacers. If you have a link that would be great.
