what offset can i run?

    hey guys im brand new and was wondering 17x7 with 40mm offset and 225/45/17 will fit on my truck with a 2'' drop spindle and 3'' blocks in the rear without rubbing?

    you can try to test fit them

    i hope the center bore is sufficient and the bolt pattern is 5x114.3

    generally we can fit a +12/+20offset on an 8 inch rim. you may be safe with that wheel. you might need a slight spacer just in case.

    I've talked to a couple tire shops and they say that +40 is too much. Thats more of a fwd style wheel. But it could depend on how wide the wheels are.

    90' DLX Single cab
    Im running Acura RSX rims. 16" stocks with 45+ offset. Ive been running it for almost a year with no rubs. Im getting 1 1/2" wheel adapters later though!
