I love me some tech N9ne! I'm kinda weird but I can go from metal straight to old country then to rap lol. Why in hell am I not getting emails from people responding?
Metal is my #1. Grew up on 80's Thrash. Currently digging Five Finger Death Punch, Trivium, Atreyu, Killswitch, In Flames, Lamb of God...... Love most other forms of "rock" too. Also dig some rap, the old school stuff and anything current with a great beat, rhythm and lyrics. Wife has turned me on to country too. Liking a lot of the current stuff.
What is y'all best concert / who you seen the most? Best: Tool @ Redrocks amphitheater outside Denver Anthrax @ tiny ballroom in Colorado Springs Offspring @ tiny bingo parler in KS. Asked for request, screamed out Smash, and they played it!!! Most: Slipknot, Offspring, Disturbed, Aerosmith. Sucked to never see: Nirvana, Guns n Roses.
Anything from rap, rock, blues, old country, to metal and dub. Maybe it's because I'm from the live music capital of the world!!!!!
Love me some dub step too. Best concert was The Eagles! They were awesome live! I'm currently hooked on Lamb of God.
Oh I cannot forget. Also hooked on some amazing bands from Australia. ... Cog and Twelve Foot Ninja. Gotta check'em out guys...
The best concert I've gone to was AC/DC. But I haven't gone to a concert in probably 20 years. My music taste is pretty much everything. I like Mackelmore right now. back in the late 80's early 90's I was a wanna-be head bangerand Iron Maiden was my favorite band. Then I got into stereo's and moved over to the rap side, listening to Ice-T (Yes, youngsters, he wasn't always on Law And Order) Two Short, Easy E, NWA, Public Enemy, ect. I've done country, but had an ex-wife that kinda ruined it for me when she got into it. Even with all of that, I still think if you want to test a stereo to its potential, you should play Celine Dion on it. The song, I think its name is "To love you more" has decent bass and a violin that will really put the mids and highs to the test. Go ahead and laugh if you want, but try it. Michael Jackson is the same way.
One of my favorite stereo testers is "Smooth" by Santana/Rob Thomas. Had a set of FOCAL separates and a sub. Sounded SOOO Awesome. There was a really good Creed song too, but can't ever remember it, found it, "Never Die" on Human Clay Course Metallica's "ONE" will test your sub response. LOL. Oh, and the beginning of "Dyers Eve"
AC/DC would've been awesome to see. Great rock music. First taste of them was Razor's Edge Album. Public Enemy and Anthrax "Bring the Noise" Best rap/thrash mix ever!
