What is this?

    Can someone tell me what this is? Looks like a vacuum line that maybe the previous owner looped. The bottom side has what looks like oil and smells like gas in it. Top side after the hard line is clean.

    Its not the line coming off the fuel pressure regulator, is it?

    I found it, it's the PCV valve. Why it's kinked that way is beyond me. I'll be changing this ASAP.

    thats funky is what it is... seems like the egr has been deleted and such. chances are its a recirculation hose to the intake.

    I just did the egr delete and pair valve delete. I'd couldn't feel the hose looping back down to the valve cover I thought it ran up into the intake on both ends but I didn't. Took me about an hour and a half going throughout the manual to figure out that it was the PCV valve.
