I was wondering what this cap on the back of the valve cover is for? My black valve cover from LC does have it.

Does someone have a spare stock valve cover they can look at?
Is it capped off on the inside?
It is stuck on there, tried plyers and no budge, think its ugly
If I take it off, and not capped off underneath I assume oil will shoot out the top, don't want that.

    Any help would be great.

I just looked at my spare, I am not sure what it is for, but its a bolt hole of some kind that does not go all the way through the cap. For that matter none of the bolts do so dont worry about oil shooting out. There is a plate on the underside of the VC that is tacked in to prevent just that. Good luck with the rest

That cap, originally was part of the air cleaner mount, its not a cap but a rubber isolator that screws into the valve cover and the top which is broken off had a threaded stud that the air filter bolted down on.
The hole is a blind hole and won't leak oil out if its removed.

Yup. Extra mounting points. I cut mine off, and JB welded an alum plate inside the hole. The other few grind off smooth.
