Hi all..

I picked up a set of spindles from an '82 to swap onto my '73 to get disc brakes.. finally pulled them apart after having them a few weeks and found the inner bearing race is spinning in the hub.. so the hubs probably done.. anyone know what years of hubs will fit onto an '82 spindle?

I am no expert but my 76 has disc brakes in front

 

75-83 has the same spindle/hub/brake assembley. parts, or entire setup, from any can be used to convert the 74 and back trucks to front disc. the 79-83 needs to be flipped side to side so the steering arm is pointing back. coil frame trucks had rear steering. torsion frame trucks had front steering.

 

Alright cool.. buddy who's a factory tech is going to help me have a look at the race monday after work and see if we can salvage the hub.. otherwise I'll go try and find another parts truck to pull one side off of..
