yup got rolled by a great officer in maryland heights who stuck his little meter on my windows. they registered in at 3% lol, oh well it aint going to make me take it off. the best part was that the cop liked my truck and said whether i take the tint off or not he wont ever pull me over again for it since hes met me know. lol anyone else with some funny tickets?

lol lady sheriff pulled me over one morning since my truck was too loud
told her i had my muffler in my garage and i'd put it on tonight
and she was like, are you sure?
I told her yes (very politely)
and she said, alright, i'll let you go.

then she told me about the front license, and how it could confuse others

    so i cut the zipties
she told me have a nice day
i smiled, cuz i was happy
    and didnt get a ticket

    she was cool.

the stater asked me "do you know why i pulled you over?"

i had been doing under the speed limit in the slow lane as there was not enuff wheight to make the suspension work in the back and the ride was rough, so i said " no sir, what was the reason?"

    "you have no rear bumper"

he also said that he wasnt worried about me, but about other drivers, clipping the frame or coming to close to the wheels. he never mentioned the tail lights and fuel spout zip tied to the frame, the lack of mud flaps or even a bed.

let me go on my way:waytogo:

Got 2 stories for ya....kinda long

About 5 years ago I had an '87 S-15 Jimmy with a small audio system. I had a bad day at work and was headed to the store so I had the system up as loud as it would go without distorting. I pulled into a parking spot & as I was getting out of my car a cop pulled up. He asked if I was the one booming thru the intersection, I said "yes, it was me. Had a bad day at work and was blowing of some steam". He said that he was bout 4 cars back at the intersection at the red light and it was loud enought that he thought it was right next to him. Then he asked what I have. I told him I only had one 10" sub running 250 watts. He said, and I quote, "bulls**t!". So I opened the back to show him. He was so surprized that he didn't give me a ticket, but did tell me that if he heard it again he would.

The other story... I was in my Yota this summer at a red light with a cop right behind me. The person in front of me had their stereo up, so when the turned green the cop flipped on his lights. i pulled over thinking he was gonna get the guy in front of me. Nope, he pulled me over. He asked "You know why I pulled you over?" I said "no officer, I don't." he said he heard my stereo. I chuckled a little and said "what stereo? You got the wrong guy." He pointed at my head unit and said "that stereo." I have a double-din Alpine dvd/cd player with some Alpine door speakers. I told that was all I have, I have no subs. He asked me to prove it, I said "fine, search my truck. If you find subs in my truck I'll gladly take the ticket." I got out and he search and found nothing, he said kind of reluctantly "I guess I do have the wrong guy". I said "ya think!" He then said "well I heard the stereo and saw your truck & just thought it was you". I could've got him for profiling, but I thought it was too funny.
