Hey everyone, I just today discovered your forum though a google image search for somthing not at all related to toyota pickups. but it lead me here..

So anyhow im a Toyota V8 Nut, Ive got 3 projects useing a toyota V8, so here they are...

First off my pickup its a 1986 toyota pickup base model, I picked it up for $400 with a bad 22r, and i promptly started installing a 1996 Lexus sc400 1uz-fe into it, added a superafc for basic tuning, Im thinking about a 100-150 shot to make its sleeper status even more crazy, and ofcorse better grip then whats on it now.

Next is my 1991 toyota supra, it has a 1992 Lexus SC400 motor, Tien Coilovers Tanabe swaybars, Eletromotive Tec-GT, worn out Apexi exhaust, Rx7 wheels, Shine Bomex wing, JDM tails.

Stuff im working on : ISF Front Brakes, Porche Front Calapers on the rear, Shine/Greddy Front bumper, Bomex Side skirts, Quantum auto Suspention links Cage, And soon ill be swapping the 1uz out for a 3ur, Toyota tundra 5.7L V8.







and my 1986 Toyota Corolla Coupe and you guessed it, with a 1uz. this has turned into a project i dont work on much but i hope to get on it hardcore after the summer is over. along with the 1uz swap it also has a full 240sx suspention swap, Independent rear baby

Yep ill post more here soon, the rolla will get a lot of new pics once its not crazy hot out, ive got it all setup to finish the susptention work, its just so hot im not motovated to work on it so im sorta waiting it out right now...

Keen to seem some details on the IRS swap, is it full width or has it been shortened to suit the Corolla?

Ok i need a link to your build thread, my mind may explode with the crazy ideas of what you may have done with cool custom work....

I accually put the suspention in as is, and its not a lot wider then the stock diff. I dont rember the diffrence tho as i no longer have the stock diff. but im planning on CBY flares to allow for almost 6" of total track over the stock body. even so I wont be going for a ton of negitive offset. and have a lot more room inside the wheelwell then on the outside.

aside from getting the rear end into the car, im trying to keep the whole thing simple but just useing off the shelf aftermarket parts, like arms and coilovers, no need to fab up everything if i dont have to.

Wow just seen this thread. Me and my buddy just got done doing a 20 valve turbo in his corolla. I think he should have stuck with the 16 valve but whatev his car. Slapped in some Stance coils, heim joints, delrin bushings. DRIFT MACHINE (well as good as it can be with his setup, driver makes more the difference than the car)
