    i guess its alright...

before i could drop the clutch with 33's and it would die.

now i can power brake with 33's on dry pavement...

    milage went up too.

of course now there is only 2 vac lines under the hood, so none of the emissions stuff works anymore, i ended up removing all that stuff.

sarcasm is difficult in text

With the help of some toyotaminis members, I was able to pick & purchase my carb ( 32/36 DGEV ) I left my truck with the stock manifold and ended up plugging off lines to get it running, I then systematically removed unwanted and unneeded emissions hoses/etc. Before I was barely able to break the tires loose thru first gear on dry pavement, now, I can burn right thru first, and beak loose in second, and in wet pavement its crazy! ! ! Overall, the best part I loved about my upgrade is the fact that my truck had a significant power improvement, startup was easier, mileage was slightly better ( when I keep my foot outta it ) and it has a nice new sound of life. Overall, I highly recommend it, from my understanding, when u upgrade the intake you further increase power and mileage and it eliminates having everything all plugged off with the stock manifold. Go for it man, youll love it. Also, the weber is SOOO much easier to tinker with and adjust for performance . . .

Mine runs way too rich, bogs down, gets about 16 MPG versus my previous 26, and won't run at all on hot days. Weber agrees there is an issue, but wants me to send the carb back, off of my daily with no other useable carbs available to me.
