Today I cleaned some parts on the engine and I covered the distributor and also the air filter I have but I didnt cover the alternator and my question was what can happen to the alternator if it gets wet I use my water hose to wet the bay? PS it turned on fine just had dat question about the alternator or wat else I should cover next time

 

I wash my engine a lot,just spray WD through it while running.
It drives water out!
