you'll have to ask shonuff or lown'loud for the exact number, but I know there is a conciderable gain in HP, like putting a edelbrock or carter on a chevy motor,.

. . . Ive never dyno'D mine after the install of my 32/36 DGEV ( thats the electric choke model ) But I sure can tell you that the power increase even with a stock motor is very noticable, and without a doubt the secondary opening is hella kewl too. Al I can add ( from what Ive heard and read ) most people running a stock motor should stick with the 32/36's when you get to a 38 or running sidedrafts, youll be looking at having to upgrade cams, and such, Im not an expert on it but be sure to read up on ( lcengineering.com ) they along with many other sites along with weber conversion users will let you know whats up. If your just starting with a performance carb in a toyota, start with the basic and upgrade as you can or splurge and take the big step right on into it. Cant wait to see that mini hugging the pavement, very clean, thanks for the updated photos . . .

Thanks for the advice, I have a second 22r sitting in my '88 I plan on rebuilding from the ground up, so most of this action will happen at once, however I did plan on rocking the new carb on the old motor for a min. also plan on dropping the ride and the new motor during the same session for that euphoric new truck old friend feeling,.

Years ago when I had my 88 model Toyota with the 22r engine I had a Weber 38mm carb, LC Engineering street performance cam, springs & valves, header & Flowmaster exhaust. Oh & I also upgraded to an MSD ignition system & Ill say this...it wasnt slow lol!!

I was concidering the R.V. head and Cam however I've read alot of differn't opions on the matter,. I figured once i pull the motor from my '88 break it down (Taking lots of pics along the way) pressure clean it and inspect it for damange I will have decided which route to go, but for now I'm thinking to bore or not to bore,.
