    hey guys this is probably a dumb question but!

    i want to lower the front of my rn25 and ( in new zealand ) i know its illegal to cut coils, im not prepared to shell out to get them reset either -its alot of money to stick your springs in an oven twice- so the question is this;

    can i use coil clamps?

    nowhere does it say i cant, but i cant find anything to say i can either

    hmmph.....

    Just cut the things, how are they going to know..tell them the coils are just old and saggy and to get a life and go build something instead of trying to find ways to monitor people. This set of coils has 2-1/4" coil removed instead of the ball joint flip and drop coils...and rides great.

    their trucks have to be certified by an engineer, and the tag is put on the firewall (even if you swap the seats). i think the most you can lower without a cert is 2".

    while the laws are strict, i personally think it makes their rides be excellent quality!!

    check out the forum i posted above! it's pretty sweet!

    yea man good quality rides but they jusy keep tightning up on it, cops here now have the power to impound and crush your car if they think theyre unsafe , or youre an idiot driver lol whichever comes first, to be fair you have three strikes, even so, pays not to get on their badside

    ball joint flip? or isnt it configured like that, cant remember off the top of my head will check tommorrow
