Had the pleasure to meet my first member on toyotaminis.com. Joe and his wife came out to pick up some parts for his project (very nice people btw) and I offered to take him for a ride. Sucked a little bit since I was low on gas and the engine kept cutting out on me but oh well...was enough to scare him a little lol.

    Enjoy

    Contemplating...

I gotta admit, I was grinning all the way home. When we made it back and I saw my 72' HiLux just sitting there, I couldn't help but imagine a 1jz swap rather than a reman 22R (dual chain).

    Fudge.

Riding in your truck just got me all fk'd up. In a good way. :D

haha glad you liked it. If I can get a good deal for a 1973 or older toyota pickup, then I would swap all of whats in my truck into that chassis. pretty much the same chassis you have. Then i would NEVER get rid of it.

LOL! A few of my friends and family watched it as well and they laughed about that part as well. i always love good commentary :waytogo:

I really hope you snatch up a smog exempt Yota and throw all that (2jz) in it.

You just got here, man! Don't go, now! :D

I like the rat rod one :D. But I need the price to be under a grand and has to be road worthy. If I can find one under a grand thats either non-op or registered that is smog exempt, no major rust. then you'll be seeing another project truck from me in the future. Hopefully the rear end will fit and the big ass 2jz engine/drivetrain.
