V8 powered Toyota Truck

    This is beyond AWESOME

    Found it on LA Craigslist while searching for another truck. (not mine)

    V8 powered 1990 Toyota Truck

    (incase someone buys it and gets deleted)

    real clean little toyota short bed regular cab pickup with only 33k original miles. truck was built right with 383 stroker small block chevy, professionally built turbo hyrdro 350 trans with all the good stuff, 2400 stall, full manual valve body, strange built 9" ford rear end with 3:50 gear ratio, autometer gauges, Hurst rachet shifter,disk brakes, electric fan keeps her cool, flo fit bucket seats, has dual 3" exhaust with cats. new weld prostar wheels. fun little truck, ultimate sleeper. clean title

    Things sweet! I wish my v8 swap was not a 4wd chassis but a 2wd like this!

    Yeah, it is sweet. Not sure how practical it would be compared to the more common Toyota swaps but I bet its a beast to drive.

    which one 77/78/79/81[r.i.p]82 sbrc driftbox, and a CeliLux/current daily= 79 sbrc [lil' blue]
    no i stalked my newest one for a year and a half before it even went up for sale saw it being brouht in for repairs at a shop where i was pickng up parts asked about it, they said it was inherited from a past relitive so the people didnt want to sell a year later i saw the same truck[ didnt realize it at the time ] parked down the street from where i worked when i was taking a testdrive , left a note on the guys door saying if it ever comes up for sale to call me first, nine months later to the day almost [kinda like a new baby:lol:] he called me and asked if i wanted it and even though i just bought a 79 celica and a 83 4x4 i imediatly said yes like a fat girl if you asked her if she wanted more cake!

    I see this and I think of all the cars you could win if you raced for pinks. Surely there are enough dumb kids out there that would underestimate this truck and lose their ride!

    Wow that thing is a beast! I bet you get a few haters from the purist but the best part is it's your truck!
