How hard is it to do? I know I have to mess with the timing belt, but is it possible to do it without taking it off the belt all the way?

Its not hard at all. But to get it out u have to move the timing belt. U DONT have to take the belt off. Just loosen the tensioner and move the belt. thats it.

Just make sure u get the right pump. I got the one w/o the oil cooler hose. and needed the one with the oil cooler. Lets just say i was extremely irritated....

    Change out the thermostat too.

Its pretty easy. Just gotta take out the radiator. The fan/clutch/pulley as one assembly. access the timing belt and yea.

    When u guna do et?

Just did the T-stat 2 weeks ago so it's going to stay to now, but I am removing the fan in leau of an electric fan. I have a re-occurring overheating issue and have been trying tons of different things. The rad. is VERY clogged up, I have flushed it with solvent 3-4 times and it is still horrible, so I ordered this one today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0500060480&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT
I think I will hold off on the water pump till next weekend after I get the new rad. installed and see how clear the fluid is after a good flush.
