Hi I have been looking for the measurement for a u joint on a One Ton (Won Ton) 1986 long box 22RE Toyota regular cab. I have a spare u joint sitting in my random parts pile but I'm not sure if it will work. The u joint I have is for a Toyota truck I'm not sure if it is a 4x4 or 2wd though. It is a Precision universal joint 387 (Federal-Mogul Driveline Products Chicago Illinois).
Bearing cap diameter axis 1: 1.142 inches
Width including clips axis 1: 2.047 inches
Bearing cap diameter axis 2: 1.142 inches
Width including clips axis 2: 2.047 inches

So can anyone possibly help me to determine if this part I have will work on my One Ton Toyota:shrug:

Go visit the local parts counter ask them for the one you need and measure it. they only had one version for mine, when I did it like 3 years ago. (85 1-ton)
and the only part that REALLY matters is the caps diameter as it is a press fit.

These are the most popular vehicle that u joint fits. Did you own any of these models before? Not say'in it won't work on a p-up.

No I bought this thing a long time ago as a spare joint. It could be for a 98 Tacoma 2x4 or an 88 4x4. It's my Dad's One Ton (could be 1985) and he needs a u joint. I wanted to help him out. Maybe it's of no use to him.
