Hi. I just bought a 93 pickup. Whenever I take a turn, the blinkers stay on until I turn it off manually. I need to know if these trucks came stock with the turn signal cancel. Ive removed the steering wheel and couldnt find any canceling cam. Anybody know?

Should be standard, the stalk on yours must be worn.
Does it happen like that in both directions?

sounds like the signal cam is either broken or could be just stuck with years of lint dust and grease.... pull the steering wheel and take a look at the little cam..

Is the steering wheel stock or aftermarket?

Clean all the contacts and the switch guts. Wheel should have a post or two to cancel them. Post some pics.

I know this is a sh@tty pic, But u can see a gap behind the steering wheel. They are no posts anywhere. I do know that the previous owner had an aftermarket steering wheel on it. Does it look like anything is missing? I can take a pic with the steering wheel removed if needed. Thanks guys.

If you take off the steering wheel you'll see 2 small holes in the backside of it. The white spring loaded ring that contacts the steering wheel is supposed to have 2 matching pegs that fit in there. That's what is supposed to cancel the blinkers as it turns.

If the PO had an aftermarket wheel, the cancel cam probably didn't fit under the hub adapter and he tossed it (or he just lost it due to stupid). I have cheap grant wheels on everything and the auto-cancel still works so either he had something weird or a case of the stupid.
