So, I got all the pieces:

    2.25" Cherry Bomb Turbo Muffler

2.25" donation piping from a friends '05 Tacoma BroSport TRDeez something or other

2" diameter 18" long Resonator donated from Lexus Wagon.

My plans are to cut the 2-1 pipe from the factory header piece,
Delete cat, install resonator in it's place which joins up via pivot donut flange to the 2.25 piping into(WELD) the CB Turbo muffler (13" i think) then (WELD)tail pipe.

As it sits right now,I just tore off the cat back exh parts so cat into open atmosphere.

I was playing around with the engine running, and placed the resonator over the outlet - change in tone was what I was looking for, then I placed the CB Turbo on, just the right amount of muffling I want.

I hope to post a sound clip when I'm all done

Anobody weld around the socal area?

sounds sick. I was planning on doing something of the sorts but I dont care about my neighbors or their feelings since they bump tunes till 2am so Im always glad to wake them up in the AM with a nice deep romp of my dual test pipe no muffler having 350z. I was thinking gut my cat cause its garbage straight pipe to cherry bomb in rear so hook it up with a sound clip when you git r done I wanna take a listen (on my toy that is)

So I slapped on just the resonator with some clamps and I hafta say, it sounds pretty good the way it is!
Toned down much of the airy raspiness, the note is really DEEEP and bassy.
In the cabin, the bassiness gets old pretty quick.
I held the Cherry bomb in place after the resonator and all I could hear was the noisy engine lol

Finished up exhaust yesterday, tightened all bolts.
I fabbed up some hanger mounts off a blown tires sidewalls.

Considering all the used parts here, this systems sounds awesome!

Given it's only an 8V 2.4L SOHC carb'd but the combination of the resonator and Cherry Bomb Turbo work GREAT.

I recorded a vid but it doesn't pickup the bassy tone of the exhaust. Sounds like almost like stock!

Off the lline you hear DEEP BASSY 2.4L, with WOT it gets deeper. I can tell from the butt dyno it's freed up a lot more of the 2.4L oomph
    @ hwy speeds @ 60-70 can't even tell I have an exhaust.

So I'm gonna play with a dig mic to get a better vid of the set-up
