can you guys help my truck 18rc dosent want to turn on ?ive always had trouble cranking for along time till it starts, but today i will crank it and as soon as it want to turn on i pump on the gas it rev a littel and then i put the key to on position .and then die ? it will rev if i have the key on the start position but as soon as it gose in the on position it will turn off even if it was reving it

 

check power to your coil. If the power goes away when your key is in the run position your ignition might finally be taking a crap...

 

if so how can i fix that ?

 

honestly, parts are so old and hard to find you can try to take it apart and repair whatever is breaking on the connection for the contact, or wire in an aftermarket one...

its one of those take it apart and see what broke things...

 

still cant fix it said my coil was bad replace but to no dice while cranking my Voltage Regulator gets warm is it suppost to do that ?
