Usually when I start my truck, I have to pump the gas bout 10-15 times. Once it starts, I have to leave it the way it is, sounds like its in a high idle, until the temperature warms up past the C. Then I'd slightly tap the gas and it'll idle what seems to be normal. My brother-in-law's 82 requires NO pumping, it'll start right up! So yeah, Im jealous bout tht... Since I readjusted the timing to the 1st tick mark (pls excuse my mechanical terminology) is when I 1st started having another issue. Now, it'll crank, but wont turn over and start. Should I keep the distributor advanced? Last 1 for now... then when I turn it off. It shakes pretty bad... like its having a seizure... Any and All advice & help would be greatly appreaciated!!!
