i have a 1985 toyota single cab regular bed 2wd with the 4spd W46 transmission. lately i just found that my synchronizers between 1-2 are going...:(, but i had this guy whos selling a 5spd 22r manual trasnmission, and i was wondering if all the mounts are the same and if i will have driveshaft length issues. ill miss that 4spd....

what is up with the tags on this thread:looney:

if it is a W series tranny it will bolt up to the motor and the tranny mount will bolt to it, weather or not the tranny mount ends up in the same spot is another story.

driveshaft most likely will be different

I also have this same transmission and want to swap to a 5-speed. More specifically the W-58, if you get any info make sure to post!
