Tranny fluid drain/fill

    Do you have to open it up from that big ol' plug on the very bottom or is there another that can drain? I'm not even sure if it has fluid as it was pulled and all for the stock floor. I pulled off two that held brackets and that was a no go...

    to drain i do think its the big nut in the bottom, and to fill its the one on the side.
    from what ive been told that id easier to fill from the top, where the shifter is at.

    If its manual, theres one at the lowest point of the trans and a fill hole on the side. they should be similiar bolts. dont over tighten. For the fluid you can use GL-5 gear oil. has worked well for me.

    go to harbor freight and buy a siphon pump they are only a couple of bucks,easiest way to fill the tranny!!..just pump it in the tranny until it comes out and your done

    thats what i did, i reccomend if u can to heat up the stuff till its warm or at least leave it in the sun before u do this, just make sure its not cold or you will be pumping forever
