Has anyone done this to their 84-88? I'm contemplating doing it sometime this fall and want to know what all goe into it. I really want to doit just to hide all my electronic crap that I don't feel like moving behind the dash. I figure I can make a panel and use round head allen key bolts and bolt a cover plate where I can gain access to everything if need be but I don't have a clue how to go about attaching the trailor fenders themselves.

we put a pocket in for the clutch master & should have set the fenders as high up as possible,if you are going to run bigger than 18 wheels or body drop it,you will have to move the master if you have a stick.

sorry for bringing a thread from the dead but I'm realy starting to think about baggin my 88, and this was the only thread that had some info but not enough for me.
If I cut out my iner fenders and replace with trailer fenders will I need to move my slave and master cylinders?
will I need to tub the firewall at all
and is there enough room to keep my battery up front
Im only going to run an 18" wheel with a 225/40 or smaller tire
any help and or pictures would be great
