I kind of remember those high performance trucks but I had just bought an IS300 so wasn't in the market. I didn't know it was essentially a factory street truck with a reinforced frame for street handling. I think i assumed the "X" in "X-Runner" stood for cross country. I'm intrigued to learn about the X-brace reinforced frame and was hoping for some pics of just the frame X-bracing. If I'd only known how special those trucks were, back then...
