I had one of these w50's in my single cab 1987 toyota 2wd pickup truck and the stock driveshaft was the right length; I don't think wikipedia is right about the application compatibility and I believe this transmission will go right in to later year Toyota Pickup Trucks
This is a great unit to upgrade from a 4spd with, to replace your current 5spd, or to use with a divorced transfer case. it'll work in xcab's too. It came with a 6 month warranty and had no problems Price Drop $220 shipped
The chrome stick shift and base plate alone sells for $150 from other used parts vendors so this is a great bargain to get the whole low mileage setup for only $220 shipped to your door

Transmission works well and does not appear to be damaged or burned. No strange noises or grinding. Thank you for a drama free order from acrossed the United States! Happy 4th of July!"
Eric, Do you know if there is a difference between 1/2 and 3/4?. Looking to do a 5 speed swap on my 3/4 1980 truck. Planning on using it to tow. Don't really want to go w58 but need tow capacity. Referring to your w50 for 210, have bellhousing.THX. Will
The w55 I have for sale is stronger than the w50. (I sold the w50) $185 shipped with no bellhousing and contents I believe the W series transmissions have the same bellhousing Did you see my for sale thread? the one which is $210 shipped that you mentioned http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/203575-post130.html
