Whats up guys I'm from Knoxville TN and daily drive a 78 Hilux pretty much all original except a 5" drop, Flowmaster, Weber carb, and some ignition upgrades. I've never used a forum before so not too familiar with it but have been reading articles as I did my weber upgrade. So I figured I would join. I've worked on cars for over 10 years now. Mostly old school Chevys. Owned quite a few Toyotas but haven't done much work on them, because you never really need to other than upgrades. Anyways I'm always glad to offer advise when I can and I'm sure I'll be taking some as I continue to work on this little Hilux (which according to my fiance we will never be selling). I guess since I will be keeping it and I have a never ending urge to continue upgrading you should see alot of progress on this thing.

 

If anyone can help me with the basics of Forums; how do you attach a pic to the post?

 

Welcome! You are off to a good start with the Weber, Flowmaster, and ignition upgrade. I have all of these upgrades along with a street cam & Doug Thorley headers. I have my photos in Adobe and I load them from there. Are your photos on a computer or your phone?

1982rn34, What size cam are you using? I've been looking at a few lately. Wana get the most power but not have to go any bigger than the 32/36 weber I just put on.

I bought my cam from LC Engineering. It's been 20 years, but I believe this is the one that I'm using.
