89 Regular Cab. The weirdo with the stock suspension.
My design for Lil' B has always included a plan to install a roll cage in the cab, probably from here:

1989 - 1995 Toyota Regular Cab Pickup Internal Roll Cage

or someplace like it with DOM tubing. Since the bed is going to be a camping/ passenger carrying area when finished (complete with rear-facing seat with seat belts tied into the bed roll cage), I planned to order a cage that would fit the bed as well and modify it to fit under the topper. (probably just shortening the hoop uprights if needed to make it clear the topper before welding on the base plates.)
Luckily, finding a cage isn't a problem for these trucks, with the off-road market but the topper part is becoming and issue for me. I need to replace the leaky, cracking, in no way water-tight one thats on it and the ones I've found are pretty utilitarian... If they are even stocked for our trucks.
So I wanted to see what other members have for toppers. Has anyone ever tried making a topper? If so, lets see it. I'm basically looking for ideas and tips if anyone has them.
    Thanks.
