I don't know what happened to papabear1013's thread, but either way I had to share this. I was stuck at home and had nothing to do, it was night, I was bored, parrots were yelling, dogs were barking and I just HAD to leave. I'm usually a leadfoot so my 4x4's MPG got pretty low, but driving for 90 miles fixed that. I turned off my stereo, so I wouldn't get distracted by vibrating doors, rolled down the windows to let in the brisk night air, and hopped on the I-15 and headed north to Corona Crossings, just wasting time, doing a bit of window shopping (with Christmas coming up and all) and found nothing appealing. Then I drove even further, I turned around and headed to Temecula to check out the mall - again, finding nothing anyone in my family'd be interested in and headed home. I started this trip with a 1/2 tank of gas (guage is off by 7 gallons) and filled up at an Arco by home. Earlier in the tank, I was flooring it everywhere, then I stuck at 73 MPH on the freeway, but I still managed to make it to 22 MPG. Regardless of the pointlessness of my trip, I enjoyed the ride. And I realize now, that I have a really nice 4x4. Yeah, it's had problems, yeah the paint job has had better days, but if this thing can run this good after (almost) 22 years, it's definitely worth keeping, daily driver or otherwise. (as it is now - chrome removed *sorry 'bout the selling confusion FOKAI* and awaiting smittybilt bumpers for front and rear and light bar) And a shoutout to papabear for being such a good sport with 7 + pages of bull crap on the original "took a drive" thread that led to "papabear's thread jacking lmao" thread, now known as "Toyota Minis Chat Thread"
