Looking for anyone that has any tips or tricks on removing the LCA's, UCA's, and rear leaf big bolts on the front mount. Tried heat on all bolts, soaked down with pb for a few days, none of the big ass bolts want to budge. I got a few of the nuts off, only to find the bolts won't come out. I ended up grinding the bolts on the shackles off. Would prefer not to repeat on the rest of all the suspension components.

I just received the custom MMW control arms, and I have been searching to find how people have mounted there bags top mount. I understand you grind off the bump mount, but I did not want to actually cut out and cup the frame like I saw on another build. Can I get away with just mounting the bag mount where the bump stop is? Thanks guys.

i've taken a lot of leafs out. some have been done easily and some where a bastard.

best advice i have for stubborn ones is a 1/2" impact. the shock can help free the bolt from the bushings inner sleeve. then a good sledge to hammer them out. i've had some that i used a pinch bar to push the out, and they fought till the last 1/4".

this thread has some good pics of the front done without cutting into the frame

Thanks for the link, studying that my only concern is my control arms are now narrowed 2 inches. Looks like it wouldn't leave a lot of room for the bag in my situation, maybe I am wrong. Again I have never bagged a car before, always done static, but since I needed to narrow the arms, figured I go bags. So basically mount bag on lower arm, bolt top plate to bag, raise arm so it is parallel to the ground, then that's the height the mount need to be welded at? Again, sorry for the Noob question. Everything about this project has been "custom" and not done before.
