timing setting

    I trying to see if my timing is off.. does anybody knows the timing set or degrees to set on it.

    The 20R motor should be the same as my 22R and that's 8 degrees. I have mine bumped up to 10 for a little bit of performance.

    Yeah around 8 degrees is where it should be, advenced mine up to 14 degrees runs way better now

    Will it eat more gas if I advance few degrees more or is the same but more performance ...

    It's hard to tell if it will eat more gas, but the performance will out weigh this any day.

    While we are on the topic can you someone give us a step by step on how to advance the timing a couple degrees?
