    Hey guys,

So I have an 86' 2wd 4-speed with a 22r at about 200k miles. I am going to do the timing chain and guides on it soon.

For those of you that have done this service on your 22 engine I would like you to recommend me a QUALITY timing chain kit with metal guides.

I've been looking at the heavy duty kits on eBay. Some include water pump, oil pump, timing chain cover, and any combo of them.

Any experience with those kits and at ~200k should I just go ahead and replace the water and oil pump while I am at it?

I've bought a kit from ENGNBLDR.COM Engine Parts Network never a problem with the parts. Allot of guys on yotatech.com recommend him so thats why i bought from him..Otherwise you could buy OEM

There is nothing "heavy duty" about the parts from the link you posted. Just a gimmick its the same stuff you would get anywhere else. The only heavy duty I have ever seen is from LCEngineering. THey have a dual row timing chain set up, they sell OEM parts for what your looking to do as well
