so i need to get a manual for my 77 5speed...the ones ive seen ant the autoparts store is like 25 bucks but i want a mor comprehensive book that is specific to my model run for my truck...the guy at the parts store said i should buy one from the dealership and that it would be over 100 bucks...he also said that it should be a chiltons. what manuel(s) do u guys use? could i find one cheeper than that?
i didnt have much luck on the chiltons website...or on the internet at all...maybe im not searching the right things
i searched "full size manual" i searched "manual" i didnt see anything...what should i try? is it like a scaned version...pdf...or a link to were i could buy one? thanks...
i recommend searching on ebay. they reprint the factory service manuals. they're not the cheapest, but they cover everything, unlike the chiltons or haynes. i've also seen used FSM's go for pretty cheap on ebay. i'm not sure what you body style is, it should be RN23 or something like that. i've found typing in the RN number yeilds more search results rather then typing in the year. you can also just type in the wildcard RN** and it will pull up a ton of results.
hay thanks again...looks like its RN28...im new to all this motorvehicle stuff sorry if i seem stupid at times...should i just search "RN28 toyota factory service manual" on ebay?
