I'm finally getting to the point where I'm able to touch my truck. I've been searching this section of the forum, the faq, and how to articles and haven't found concrete instructions on what to swap(although I could just be tech illiterate and didn't use the search button correctly.) Using google also brought me to the same forums.

I figured since it was a commonly asked question, it might as well be consolidated into one thread. Since I have an '82 AND a '93 that I'll be junking, I'm totally willing to do the wrenching and take pictures and video for the benefit of everyone else's learning.

If we could post what ever information, both from personal experience and hearsay, into this thread, we could decipher what is correct so no time will need to be wasted. I have kept this weekend clear for this project.

I must admit I graduated from a rural high school and came in back of the class but I don't understand what you are asking in your post ??? Just me maybe

Exactly what are you trying to do? And why?

I swapped the 84+ suspension on the front of my 82 so I could run drop spindles. It was quite a bit of work, and it's really no the best thing to do, since one could just flip the upper ball joint and avoid all the problems I we t thru (like excessive camber).

Maybe posting this after a few glasses of scotch wasn't the best idea lol. My intent for this thread was indeed to swap over 84+ suspension in order to be able to run drop spindles from various companies.
