This is a thread dedicated to my truck, how she started, transformed and ended. I got the truck in 2000.

1994 Toyota 22RE 5 spd single cab base model.
some time in 2000 she got a intake, stainless steel air filter, 15" eagle alloys, system varied from this point on.




at some point i added all this a/f gauge/ boost vac, only vac worked, wanted boost but never got to it. GTech Pro "data logger" venom performance piggie back




later the shell came off, i used it to store tools and what not so it came in handy









Old system i had 2 tv's PS2 and had it hooked up to my laptop 03-04??



older systems, at one point had 4 10" subs, kicker 420 D class amp sony cd player, then for a week had Kicker 6 10" subs, pioneer 2-6x9's 2-6.5's, then some solo beric L7s when they 1st came out. I worked at a stereo shop and had anything and everything when it came out.






added CRX Si Seats...



build a SPL box






then one day i added some 18" and a tonnue cover and chrome front end.




stuff got painted and added, TRD lv 2 cam center force clutch 04-05?






later i went back to the 15"s


then i put on some konig tantrums 18"s 06-07?






4runner ac relays





then it stayed like this for some time. later one day at band camp i scored a 4runner front bumper 08


Then i completed the 4 runner front end swap
one day in 2010 i got bored and drop her to 1" from the frame







kept her for slammed for one 2 weeks? then put her back to 3"3" drop

soon after i got hit on the freeway..






at the insurance yard.










the insurance totaled her out. and they took her away, she now sits at a salvage yard blocks from my house, i have seen her they took the motor out, and fixed some things that got damaged in the accident, they sold one door, sold the rims,' but that's about it, nothing else, shes still there.

she was a great reliable truck, she will be missed but not forgotten, i was able to get some parts off my old truck form the yard and the plan is to possibly go back for more.

Insurance wanted too much for it. they insisted on not selling it back, if i did i would have to sing some stuff that said its not street legal.

truck needed a new frame, new front clip, pretty much a new cab and new bed. might as well get a new truck. and just keep the memory's

 

Dang man that sucks. Nice truck though. So do you still have those 15' rims and tires still? How about that bed cover or camper? So whats the next project you have now?

 

15"s yes but im missing one rim, i broke a rim when i hit a pot hole during a thunderstorm, bed cover flew away during a "gusty winds ahead" moment off the 8 fwy in San Diego, camper still got it, and now just working on the 90 toy. just going to make it a nice DD nothing that big.

 

And the sterieo system? So my point is are you going to sell any parts that you have from that truck?

 

no stereo stuff, what was on the truck at the time was a basic cd player, cheap amp, cheap sub, just a bunch of cheap stuff. parts that i have left over are going on the new truck, just the chrome front end. 15"s are on the trailer. and i have a bunch of 22re parts, that i need to go thru.
if i put sounds in the new truck it would be a basic set up.

Is that pic wit the Gsxr on the trailer at Autospeed Raceway in Fontana? Also what type of headers did you have?

 

yes its at F.K.A. Fontana Speedway and I had LCE headers

 

I remember when you posted pics of the accident. So sad to a truck like that go, But always look forward to another one.

 

Was this off the 15fwy off of nicoles rd, on the other side of the fwy from the outlet mall?

nope everything stayed on the truck.

Yep it is. I used to ride those hills all the time. I live right off of that exit by the high school. Thats why i asked
