While your at it remove your shocks and bump stops thus increasing the ****tyness of the ride lol. My opinion if ya wanna lower your truck, do it the right way. Drop spindles and angled blocks. Gotta keep your suspensions geometry in check. You won't run into problems.

The torsion bar is the front suspensions spring. So if you just completely remove it the only thing attempting to suspend the weight of the front of the truck would be the shock, which I would assume would collapse.

Yea back in the day when I was in HS (early 90s) I took out my torsion bars
It was pretty low but rode like crap was riding on bump stops, did the rear on 4" blocks
also really close to the cut bump stop too. Was probably dangerous but a cheap drop haha

If you wanna go REALLY low, remove the torsion bars, shocks, weld the rear diff directly onto the frame and remove the wheels so the truck rides directly on the front brake rotors and rear drums. If you really want to be a sissy and have some suspension, you can spray some Plasti-dip on the rotors and drums. But its really not needed. :waytogo:
