im surprised i dont have a thread on here yet for my wheeler.

ive prolly posted more then a few videos of it on here but no thread.

so here is the super highly abridged version of my build up thread, i have a existing thread with over 300 pics + videos and climbing, warning this link will hurt even the bestest of internet connections, if you have dial up DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK. you have been warned. http://blacksheepauto.com/forum2/index.php?topic=25.0

    the abridged version.

it started life like this many many moons ago, it was my 3rd toyota ever.

and i wheeled the $hit out of it, breaking vintage plastic, putting dents in perfect body panels and having some of the best times of my life.

then i let a friend drive it...

now 2 cabs, 2 beds, 3 motors, a billion tires, and umpteen windows later...

still have the same frame, tranny, t case and axles/springs. motor from a celica, cab from a 81, grill from a 78, and a $hit ton of lil mods or additions.

currently i am going through the wiring, flaring the fenders even more, and prepping for a 620 king cab graft and body drop...

yes i said body drop, and no i am not confused, i am talking about body dropping a 4x4 on 35's. this may sound crazy to you folks building for the pavement but bear with me.

a body drop will lower my center of gravity, i only plan on a 3-4in drop. i want to have the rockers even with the frame or better as i will be cutting the rockers off and using angle iron instead. then im gonna move the tranny up so i can flat belly the thing. not going for a truggy, but want the most capable off road rig i can build thats still street legal but looks like a hotwheel based off of mad max. in the end i will have a better ground clearance, lower center of gravity and be able to flex out enuff to rub the hood.

ive been using my wheeler as a test bed to build my skills. learned to weld on it, did my first: eng swap, body swap, wiring harness build, ect on it. so im not going for looks, but function. dont care how much bird $hit ends up in my welds, im going for penetration. i rarely measure $hit and use a much bigger hammer when needed or sometimes a hatchet. sometimes i even purposely F $hit up so it looks worse, like my bed bob.

so ya click the link if you want and get up to date, ill update that thread first then repost here eventually. the body drop wont happen till after memorial day, then that will be posted over @ www.bodydrop.org and reposted where needed.
