How do I determine a fair price, taking into consideration the mods I have, and the condition that it's in? Here it is, not changed much in the last two years or so... The rest of my album... http://s68.photobucket.com/albums/i13/litneon/
i say its not worth anything.. only because you shouldnt sell it.. but if i had to name a price id say maybe 4 gs
I seen one on craigslist in Salem OR a few months back it was "bagged" and a custom fiberglass dash, other than that it was primered with steelie's $3500 dude said he would throw in sound for a few $$$$ more, your truck is alot nicer and has good paint if there's sound I think you could pull 5k to the right buyer
Thanks, I thought about listing it for $6k and just seeing what happens. I don't really want to sell it, so I'm not in any hurry. My wife and I are thinking of moving to central PA, and it wouldn't be too practical half of the year on all the gravel and snowy roads. (I say that with the knowledge that since I live in FL, I don't have a whole lot of experience in the snow driving area.) It really would be OK, except that I would always be worrying about getting chips in the paint from the gravel roads and such.
Well I live 2 miles down a gravel road and we have snow on the ground at least 6 months of the year and I still have mine! Keep it and just park it for the winter like I do. It makes it that much more enjoyable when you do get to drive it. Just my 2 cents.
Believe me, I have thought of that. My grandfather has a garage bay I could park it in, but if I did sell it I could put that money into another 4x4 vehicle.
Sell it. Consider the invested time and labor: SUNK COST. Just do it. and move on with your life. That's what I did with my stuntbike. Damn, I miss circle wheelies!
Be ready for a MAJOR climate change in the Other direction from what you're currently enjoying. Fall has come earlier than I can recall in 35 yrs in New England. I lived in Cocoa for 5 years then moved back up to CT after college. Most folks drive a 'beater 4x4 vehicle for Winter due to excessive salt use on the roads by most DOTs Sand would work but I guess the salt lobby beat out the sand lobbists
