you need to skin the core sup. and get a 4 runner core them welded it in [IMG][IMG][IMG]you should be able to in a weekend. it take me 6 hr start to finsh you need 4wd fenders
    4 runner grill
    headlight and corner lights
    and the 4 runner bumper
    core support
and new grill cips cuz those dam thing all brake
you will need to get the headlight pig tails and wire it in and the bumper lights pig tails too if you need pic i will get some for you

THATS REALLY COOL BUT I THINK ITS TO MUCH WERK TO DO AND COST TO MUCH $$$'Z TO SPEND ON A FRONT END.HERE ON THIS LIL ISLAND WE JUST SWAP OUT THE STOCK HEAD LIGHTS,2WD FENDERS,GRILL,BUMPER w/BUMPER BRACKETS,LOWER VALANCE PANEL,CORNER LIGHTS,AND NOT TO FORGET THE OUTTER SPLASH GUARDS.THAT RIGHT THERE'S ALREADY ABOUT 6 BILL'S.

im assuming using the pickup core support is the "wrong" way of doing this?

In some eyes they would say it is but in my eyes i dont think so cause either way you got to do some mods to it. But if done right it always looks the same, But at least if you keep the 2wd core you could always swap it back to stock. Just my 2 cents

just to clarify that is the 92-94 4Runner front clip........ you can do a 89-91 4Runner front clip and still retain the 2wd Fenders as we did for Macrib's truck as well as Gils89pickup....... with this setup, you swap the grill, front bumper, valance and keep the 6054 type headlights and stock 2wd corners.....

so when you do this, can you do just the bumper from a 4runner and not the grill?

i am looking at a bumper and valance off of 92 4runner. can this be installed on an 89 toyota pickup? just the bumper not the grill?

do i need the 4runner bumper brackets to do this? bolt right up?

    picture below.

i just have the bumper and the fenders on my truck right now. but you will need the brackets from thr 4runner bumper, to put it on

ok....kool. thats what i was hoping! and with the 4runner brackets it will bolt right up. so it doesnt matter what year 4runner bumper off of? just when it comes to the grill and head lamps?

do you have pics of your front end and a side view.

    thanks for the info!!

the bumper will bolt right in. we took his stock 2wd one off and bolted the 4Runner one on.......... just like that. no bracket swap.

both trucks have the same setup.......

92+ 4Runner front bumper and valance.

only difference between the two is the grill. the first truck has a stock 2wd grill. the second truck has a 89-91 4Runner grill.

both still rock the 2wd fenders. both still rock the 2wd corners. only difference is the second truck is runnning JDM marker lamps with the slight bubble in the lens. no modifications were made to bolt the bumpers on these trucks.

yo does anyone have pics of how to do it with the pick up core support. i would do it with the 4runner one but its in not so good shape and really dont have the extra money to go buy a new one. im olanning on doing the conversion this weekend and would like pics just to give me some clarification. ive heard what needs to be done but pics would be easier. thx
