Hey ya'll just joined this forum, seems like the perfect place for me. I'm just a good ole country boy from mississippi that has a passion for yotas.
I figure maybe i should tell a little about my yota ha. I've got a 89 single cab deluxe. went from 22re to 22r (Long Story) Its got a weber 38 carb, deleted a/c and power steering, and for the exhaust a glasspack and turndown after the cab, with no cat.
Welcome to TM! Just a friendly warning, we are pic junkies around here. What are the plans for truck, if any?
good deal, i'm a pic junkie as well, plan on posting some up soon. I just got it back on the road this month after sitting for 2 years (22r's aren't a easy find around here). Very shortly planning on a offenhauser intake, possible a mild cam, and a header. Looks wise, i'm about to drop it 1 to 2 inches up front and 2-3 in the back and throw on a set of cragar classics i have lying around.
well here's a few of the truck, excuse the dirty interior, it was just put back on the road after 2 years of sitting up. I had just redone the bumper in flat back when I took these pics, and I'm lowering it tomorrow, more pics to come.
oh yes, it was my first truck, and i've been saving it the past 4 years for something special. I dont think its in too bad of shape for a 89 especially.
Mississippi is humid... I personally would've at least kept A/C... lol just because the humidity wouldve killed me... Looking good though!
yeah, i was considering it, but the windows down and 75 down the interstate and i'm alright. plus the system was getting old and it had sat up for 2 years so i just didnt run the belt, i can always go back tho like if this summer is too brutal.
