Hate to be the reminder of bad news, but has anyone here been hit, yet, with the current downturn of our economy? I figure it affects us all in so many different ways, including our love for our trucks and all our other toys. I lost two vending machine accounts this week, Crate and Barrel and a Fed Ex location, both because they were forced to shut down those particular locations. That was $500 a month - gone. Hasn't quite gotten to the point to where I've had to sell things off or have lost a home, but $500 is $500. Anyhow, was just wondering how everyone else has been affected. Personally, my truck and my wagon are one of the few things that keep me sane. Especially during these trying times.
ive been in a bad slump since october. no coverage or savings. been survivng on selling stuff and doing small side jobs. my bills arent much but still there. was able to sell a truck and a few other things in order to keep up. ill be in bad shape by the end of this month though as ive run out of "quick money" solutions at the moment. only good thing though is i now have a job to help me get back up again. gonna have to see what my yearly taxes bring me............ hopefully something decent to finish off the truck's mod's and body.
was laid off from the last job... this job just told me they are gonna cut me $3-400 a week and want me to do the same work now i gotta find another job, not working 80hrs for $500 a week. i can make more hunting junkyards and sellin crap on craigslist. school time. trying for grants again. ps mods you missed that smiley
