hows it going gang. got my 1986 toyota pick up. got it for 1200 with 131k miles. it was completely stock with a basic 22r with the same ol crappy carb.
as of now ive aquired enough goodies to start a build thread. on to the pics!

djm drop arms. thanks to SD YOTA for the info! got them for 200 shipped.


new shocks along with the drop arms installed.


the day i installed my arms and drop spindles and shocks. got pic of both my trucks for the hell of it.


sitting 3/4in off the ground daily. could go lower but stance wasnt right for me.


tucking 1/4 of my rim. layed out static when i took my jacks out. too funny.


went to a truck cruise around hawaii with my club the following week.

started doing my second skin on my doors. its super quiet in the cab now. no road noise what so ever.


and my little rust hole i cut out and patched.

i would but i love these old school style mirrors. ive never seen one on the islands with these monkey looking ones so ima keep um!

thanks everyone for the kind words....the only up date so far is i got my power steering unit in and i need to finish up my front fire wall tubs and wheel tubs on her so i can stop rubbing all over the place.

sick truck guy! a guy i used to cruise wit had mirrors similar to urs... people that rode wit him used um as "oh sh*t bars" wen he would kick it sideways haha... seeing ur truck makes me wanna get a bed rack too

Haha yeah I love these mirriors!. And the bed racks I love very few run these I use them for fishing poles.

The rear is just a simple 4inch angled block. No notch I have all my leafsprings tho. Going lower when the funds show up! Thanks!

 

did some sound deadning with second skin damplifier on the floors after i wire wheeled the whole floor of the hard dirt and surface rust and layed some primer and primer sealer on them.




some interior shots....re upholstered uncut door panels and doors.


bench seat re did also. very comfortable and no squeeks!
