The crankshaft bearings spun in my 86 22R. I have a 84 or 85 22R sitting here....

    Will a Gen 3 with square intake holes and round exhaust holes bolt into my 1986 pickup? Id like to drop this Gen3 block in and connect the intake, exhaust, and tranny and run it until I can get the original Gen 4 rebuilt.
    Has anyone done this or know where I can get some information?
