I just picked up a tailshaft housing seal, which is leaking like crazy on my truck (remember the duct tape masterpiece?). Well the box looked TINY, and then I opened it up and the seal is TINY. Now, I don't think it's that small, but I'm under the impression that the yoke on the driveshaft would be thicker than this. Check out the pic. Is this the right part?

If not, what is? I picked this up from Oreillys just now after having ordered it. I have a W50 in my truck. Maybe I'm just used to V8 sized stuff?

From the size of the seal I would guess that they gave you an input shaft seal instead of the output shaft seal.

THANK you. They didn't even get close... LOL!

1.5" wide shaft sounds a bit more like it. Ordering now. :waytogo:
